    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the revised list of Impartial Hearing Officers for the 2023-2024 school year, as submitted.

  7. Approve Memorandum of Agreement By and Between Scotia-Glenville Central School District and Scotia-Glenville Teachers’ Association

    Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Memorandum of Agreement By and Between the Scotia-Glenville Central School District and Scotia-Glenville Teachers’ Association regarding certain members would provide instruction for seven (7) periods on a given day for the 2023-2024 school year, as submitted.

  8. Request for Overnight Field Trip – Choralaires to New York City – April 23 to April 24, 2024

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the request for the overnight field trip for the Choralaires and chaperones to New York City on April 23 through April 24, 2024, as submitted.

  9. Resolution: Approve Addendum #11 to the Superintendent’s Contract

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution dated December 18, 2023, accepting Addendum #11 to the Superintendent’s Contract, as submitted.

  10. Resolution: Accept the Revised Report of the Tax Collector

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution to accept the Revised Report of the Tax Collector and that the lists of delinquent tax items be certified to the Office of the County Treasurer of Schenectady County, as submitted.

  11. Resolution: Establish and Accept The Richard J. McGuire Memorial Scholarship

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution dated January 8, 2024, regarding establishing The Richard J. McGuire Memorial Scholarship, and accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donation from the family of Richard J. McGuire in the amount of $10,000.00, as submitted.

  12. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation from “Hannaford Helps Schools” Program to Scotia-Glenville High School

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution dated January 8, 2024, regarding accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donation from “Hannaford Helps Schools” Program in the amount of $264.00 to the Scotia-Glenville High School, as submitted.

  13. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation from the Scotia Patrolman’s Benevolent Association

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated January 8, 2024, regarding accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donation from the Scotia Patrolman’s Benevolent Association in the amount of $250.00 to be applied to the Scotia Patrolman’s Benevolent Association Award Scholarship, as submitted.

  14. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation from Nathan and Megan Hilton to the Scotia- Glenville School Lunch Program

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated January 8, 2024, regarding accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donation from Nathan and Megan Hilton in the amount of $200.00 to be applied to the Scotia-Glenville School Lunch Program to offset student debt, as submitted.

  15. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation from Maryanne Pepe to the Fine Arts Department

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated January 8, 2024, regarding accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donation from Maryanne Pepe of a Samick Upright Piano to the Fine Arts Department, as submitted.

  16. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation from Frank and Leanna Leffler to the Fine Arts Department

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated January 8, 2024, regarding accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donation from Frank and Leanna Leffler of a set of CB drums, a Burswood Acoustic Guitar and a Mitchell Ukulele to the Fine Arts Department, as submitted.

    1. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the request for an unpaid leave of absence for Taylor Spiegel Allen, Teacher Aide (Lincoln Elementary), effective December 12, 2023 through December 19, 2023, as submitted.
    2. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Alexandra Thompson, School Nurse (Senior High School), effective c.o.b. January 5, 2024, with appreciation for her service to the district, as submitted.
    3. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Helen Guerin, Long-term Special Education Teacher (Senior High School), effective January 16, 2024 to accept a different position for the Senior High School, as submitted.
    4. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Jessica Darling, Teaching Assistant (Middle School), effective January 17, 2024, with appreciation for her service to the district, as submitted.
    5. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation of Caroline Hampton, Special Education Teacher (Glen-Worden Elementary), effective c.o.b. January 31, 2024, with appreciation for her service to the district, as submitted.
    6. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the request for an unpaid leave of absence for Erin Gibson, Teacher Aide (Sacandaga Elementary), effective February 28, 2024 through March 1, 2024.
    7. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation for retirement purposes of Gina Brown, 3rd Grade Elementary Teacher (Glendaal Elementary), effective c.o.b. June 30, 2024, with appreciation for her service to the district, as submitted.
    8. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the letter of resignation for retirement purposes of Janice Tunison, Library Media Specialist (Middle School), effective c.o.b. June 30, 2024, with appreciation for her service to the district, as submitted.

    a. Staffing
    1. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Caitlin Cerny as School Nurse (Senior High School), effective February 5, 2024 through September 4, 2024, with the pro- rated 2023-2024 salary to be at the rate of $50,500. Ms. Cerny has a current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License.
    2. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the School Social Worker stipend for the 2023-2024 for Andrea Figueroa at the prorated rate of $3,000, effective September 18, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
    3. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Andrea Pike as Teaching Assistant (Senior High School), effective January 9, 2024 through January 8, 2028, with the 2023-2024 salary to be at the rate of $18.43/hour, 7 hours/day, 35 hours per week.
    4. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the appointment of Helen Guerin as Permanent Building Substitute (Senior High School), effective January 17, 2024 through June 26, 2024, with the 2023-2024 salary to be at the rate of $200.00 per day worked.
    5. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the following Middle School supplemental appointments for collateral duties and stipends for the 2023-2024 school year:

    8. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the appointment of Kevin Sullivan as Girls’ 7th Grade Basketball Coach, with a stipend of $1,963.50 (.75 of Step 1), for the 2023-2024 winter sport season.
