Bullying at school

COMMENT: What happens if a student is bullying another student(s) how is it dealt with and what consequences and would there be any, if a student bullies another student(s) I saw a response about the mask mandate this has nothing to do with the mask mandate this is just bullying in general because it can be a huge problem in schools and cyberbullying has been happening more often online due to COVID-19 because more things have been virtual.

RESPONSE: All aspects of bullying are handled both under the Codes of Conduct for your child’s school and under the state’s Dignity for All Students Act (DASA). Here is the information about DASA – https://www.scotiaglenvilleschools.org/about-us/annual-notifications/#dasa

The Codes of Conduct are posted on each school page. You didn’t indicate what school your child attends.
