#WhatLiftsYou – Inspirational Wings Displayed at S-G Elementary Schools

For this year’s collaborative art project, elementary art students learned about contemporary artist Kelsey Montague, the founder of the global campaign #WhatLiftsYou. Ms. Montague is known around the world for her large-scale street murals that people can stand in front of to become part of the scene.

Students designed one of a kind feathers using a variety of lines, shapes and patterns on paper. It was painted with tints and shades of their chosen color. No feather is the same, yet together they create unity in wings displayed in each of the four elementary school buildings.
