Information for private school parents

Parents of children who live in the Scotia-Glenville Central School District and attend a private or parochial school are being asked to complete a registration form, provide proof of residency and return that information to the registrar’s office.

This letter has been mailed to parents of private school students:

In order for the Scotia-Glenville School District to help support the education of your child in the educational setting you have chosen, the District is requiring each parent and/or guardian to complete the private school registration form and return it to the registrars office in the enclosed envelope, along with proof of residency within the District (see below for a list of acceptable forms of proof).

  • Utility bill
  • Tax bill
  • Bank statement
  • Payroll check stub
  • Income tax return
  • Lease (signed by parent and landlord)
  • Rent receipt (notarization may be required
  • Report of Social Services benefit information which specifically states the home address
