Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) 2025-2026 Administrative Budget and Board Vacancies (Albany-Schoharie-Schenectady-Saratoga Counties)
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the following Resolution:
RESOLVED, that the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Albany- Schoharie-Schenectady-Saratoga Counties be authorized to expend the sums set forth in the Administrative Budget document in the total amount of $15,674,431 during the school year 2025-2026 and to raise such sum by assessments to component school districts, non-component school districts, other BOCES and other sources as required by law, as submitted. - Superintendent’s Recommendation: Election of BOCES Board members (board is entitled to one vote per vacant seat). BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of Scotia-Glenville hereby casts its vote for the following candidate(s) to fill four (4) vacant seats for the term of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028, on the Board of cooperative Educational Services of Albany-Schoharie-Schenectady- Saratoga Counties, as submitted:
- RESOLVED that the Board of Education cast its vote for the election of M. Indica Jaycox (Home District: Schoharie Central School District), as a member of the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Albany-Schoharie- Schenectady-Saratoga Counties.
- RESOLVED that the Board of Education cast its vote for the election of Heather Soroka (Home District: Watervliet City School District), as a member of the Board of Cooperative Educational Services of Albany-Schoharie-Schenectady- Saratoga Counties.
- RESOLVED that the Board of Education cast its vote for the election of Matthew Tedeschi (Home District: Berne-Knox-Westerlo Central School District), as a member of the Board of Cooperative Education Services of Albany-Schoharie-Schenectady-Saratoga Counties.
- RESOLVED that the Board of Education cast its vote for the election of Bruce Tryon (Home District: Cobleskill-Richmondville Central School District), as a member of the Board of Cooperative Education Services of Albany-Schoharie- Schenectady-Saratoga Counties.

Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education appoint the individuals on the list of Poll Clerks and Inspectors for the Annual District Election on May 20, 2025, as submitted.

Resolution: Award Contracts for the Scotia-Glenville School District 2024 Capital Project – Construction
Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution and award the contracts for construction for Scotia-Glenville Central School District to the following low responsible bidders, as submitted (names and amounts will be provided at Wednesday’s meeting):

Resolution: Increase Debt Services Reserve Fund
Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated April 23, 2025, regarding authorizing the decrease in undesignated fund balance (A909) $42,410.00 and increase Debt Service Reserve Fund (A884) by $42,410.00, as submitted.

Resolution: Accept and Appropriate Gift and Donations for Various Senior High School Award Scholarships
Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution dated April 23, 2025, regarding accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donations to be applied to various High School Award Scholarships, as submitted.
