Last school year, SG staff and district leaders participated in training sessions related to DEI and participated in focus groups and a comprehensive district climate survey. This work was led and facilitated by Tangible Development, a well-respected diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) consultancy. The goal of this partnership is to develop a more diverse, equitable, and welcoming school community.
Now, we want to hear from YOU – parents, guardians, students, and community members. Tangible Development will facilitate focus groups and surveys to collect your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and will provide the district with a summary report and plan of action for improvement.
To allow your children, in grades 7-12, the opportunity to share their voice around these important topics, please complete the attached permission slip and return to the school by Friday, October 21.
