On May 26, the Scotia-Glenville Central School District Board of Education recognized the district’s Transportation Supervisor Clara Bisaillon and the entire transportation team as Employees of the Month of April.

Every school day begins and ends with this group. Before the lights are fully on and long after the final bell rings, they’re already rolling. Through snow, construction, last-minute changes, early mornings, and everything Upstate New York likes to throw at us before coffee, they make sure our students arrive safely and get home safely.
What often looks effortless from the outside is actually the result of patience, communication, teamwork, and an incredible amount of care behind the scenes.
For many students, the first Scotia-Glenville employee they see each morning is a member of this team. That matters. The kindness, consistency, and professionalism they bring every single day helps set the tone for our district.
To our Transportation Director and transportation staff: thank you for the miles, the early alarms, the problem solving, and the steady presence you provide our community. Tonight, we’re proud to recognize and celebrate all of you.

How you can celebrate outstanding employees
This award also serves as a reminder to the community that exceptional employees deserve to be recognized. The Board is encouraging more nominations for the Tartan Employee of the Month program to continue celebrating the hard work of its dedicated staff. Community members, students, and staff are urged to submit nominations for employees who demonstrate outstanding performance and a commitment to excellence – a representation of a true Tartan.
By highlighting individuals like our hard working transportation staff, the Board reinforces its commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and showing genuine appreciation for their work.
