SGCSD honors Sharon Riggi as Tartan Employee of the Month

The Scotia-Glenville Central School District Board of Education is thrilled to announce that Sharon Riggi has been chosen as the Tartan Employee of the Month for February. Mrs. Riggi’s remarkable journey with the district began in November 1989 as a part-time staff member.

Over the years, Mrs. Riggi’s commitment and hard work led her to a 10-month position and ultimately to her current role as a 12-month secretary. Presently, she serves as the Executive Secretary II to the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, as well as the district’s Central Registrar, making Sharon an integral part of the SGCSD community.

  • Legacy of Service: Nearly 37 years of dedication to Scotia-Glenville students and families.
  • Versatility: Progressed from part-time support to one of the crucial full-time foundations in our District Office.
  • Critical Impact: Recognized for her proficiency in managing the Staff Trac system, which tracks educator evaluations and professional development, and for ensuring a seamless registration process for all new Tartans.

Sharon, we appreciate your unwavering commitment and for being the friendly face that helps our district operate so smoothly. You truly exemplify what it means to be a Tartan!
