Scotia-Glenville Welcomes New Faculty

Thirteen new teachers join SGCSD team

Sophia Caprara, Marina Castillo, Raia James, Natalya Hayvanovych, Grace Harter, Emily Benoit, Nicole Lanni, Meghan Kirwin ,Taylor Wood, Steffani Wolek, Katie Hartman, Brooke Dempsey, Rich Duff

On August 26, during a full-day orientation, the new teachers met the administrative team, learned about district goals, the teacher evaluation system, mentoring, and instructional technology. They also met with building principals, got a tour of their new buildings, and were treated to lunch by the Scotia-Glenville Teacher’s Association.

The district is thrilled to have such a talented group of new faculty join the team.
