Throughout May, the 5th graders at Sacandaga Elementary organized a food and toy drive to benefit the Animal Protective Foundation. Students engaged in various activities, including: creating posters, decorating collection boxes, making announcements, and collecting and counting donated items.
On May 29, the students visited the APF in Glenville to donate nearly 200 items and they where given a tour of the facility. Their teacher, Mrs. Montague, remarked how their hard work paid off and they took great pride in their accomplishments.
