Occupational Foundations students make and donate ornaments

Showing off the ornaments for all

Students in the Occupational Foundations classes completed a Community Service project. The students in the three classes made over 50 holiday ornaments. The ski hat ornaments have been donated to staff and residents at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The students in the Lifeskills class made holiday cards to send to the residents.

In previous years, SGHS student have been part of Baptist Holiday parties, visiting and chatting with residents. Current restrictions have prevented in-person participation. Creating and donating the ornaments was a way to stay connected and spread some holiday cheer.
