Dear S-G Families and Community:
I am writing to personally invite you to a new series of community engagement events called “Grounds for Discussion.” Our district is dedicated to fostering an open and productive dialogue with families and the public, and this series is a new effort to hear directly from you.
These hour-long get-togethers will provide a relaxed setting for you to share your thoughts, concerns, and ideas directly with me. Unlike a formal board meeting, this is a dedicated time for me to listen and engage with you in a more direct, informal way. Your insights are invaluable as we work together to shape the future for our students and schools. I believe that for our schools to be the best they can be, we must engage with the people we serve—from students and teachers to parents and the greater community. Your feedback on important topics is crucial to our success.
To accommodate varying schedules, we will host multiple Grounds for Discussion events throughout the school year at our district office, located at 900 Preddice Parkway, Scotia.
