Tonight, at 6:30 p.m., the Scotia-Glenville School District will hold a public hearing in the Middle School Cafeteria. The hearing will focus on integrating the new requirements of Desha’s Law into the district’s safety plans, along with the senior citizen property tax exemption.
Following the public hearing, a regular meeting of the Board of Education will take place. Superintendent Susan Swartz will present the timeline for transitioning from four to three elementary schools. Additionally, the board will announce their choice for Tartan Employee of the Month, Sharon Riggi. You can read more about Sharon’s achievements here.
Both the public hearing and the Board of Education meeting are open to all and will be streamed live on the district’s YouTube channel. You can access the link to watch the meeting and view the school board agenda on the Board of Education page of our website.
