SGHS musicians are warmed up and ready to put on a wonderful show in the high school auditorium this evening. We hope to see you there!
Starting at 7 p.m. – we’ll hear performances from the Choralaires, concert choir, chamber orchestra, orchestra, and symphonic band.
Our musicians have been out spreading holiday cheer. The chamber orchestra recently performed at Holiday at the Atrium on Saturday, Dec. 9 (seen above) and again on Sunday, Dec 10 at Holiday on the Avenue in Scotia. The SG chamber orchestra, under the direction of Cheryl Ferraro, is an advanced group which meets before school twice a week. Students audition to be in the group.
The Choralaires sang for the Board of Education on December 11 and again the next day for the Scotia Rotary Holiday Luncheon (seen below). Choralaires are an advanced choral group under the direction of Jessica Crisci.
