Candidates draw ballot positions for May 19 school board election

Candidates who successfully submitted petitions for the Scotia-Glenville Central School District Board of Education election attended a drawing today to determine ballot positions.

District Clerk Cathy Smith facilitated the drawing, where candidates randomly selected numbers to decide their order on the ballot for the May 19 budget vote and Board of Education election.

Voters will choose from five candidates competing for three unpaid, three-year seats. This is the order the candidates will appear on the ballot.

Meet the Candidates Night is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6 in the Middle School Cafeteria.
