  11. Approve the Agreement By and Between the Scotia-Glenville Central School District and Richard Wiesen as Consultant

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Agreement for the 2025-2026 school year by and between the Scotia-Glenville School District and Richard Wiesen as Consultant, as submitted.

  12. Approve Memorandum of Agreement By and Between Scotia-Glenville Central School District and Scotia-Glenville Secretarial Association

    Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Memorandum of Agreement by and between Scotia-Glenville Central School District and Scotia-Glenville Secretarial Association regarding a reduction in hours from 12-month to 10-month plus 20 days for Emily Wells, a member of the Scotia-Glenville Secretary Unit, Executive Secretary I assigned to the Athletic Office for support, as submitted.

  13. Approve the 2025/2026 Fee Schedule for Community Use of School Facilities

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the 2025-2026 fee schedule for community use of school facilities and regulations governing use of such facilities, as submitted.

  14. Approve the Appointment of Board of Education Student Member for the 2025/2026 school year

  15. Resolution: Annual Organizational Meeting

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education adopt the following Resolution: Resolved, that the Annual Organization Meeting of the Board of Education of the Scotia-Glenville Central School District for the 2025-2026 school year be held on July 14, 2025, beginning at 7:00 PM in the Cafeteria at the Middle School.

  16. Resolution: Authorize Scotia-Glenville School District’s Participation in Cooperative Purchasing Service (NYSMEC) for Electricity

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution authorizing Scotia-Glenville Central School District’s participation in the New York School Municipal Energy Consortium (NYSMEC) for the purchase of electricity, as submitted.

  17. Resolution: Authorize Scotia-Glenville School District’s Participation in Cooperative Purchasing Service (NYSMEC) for Natural Gas

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution authorizing Scotia-Glenville Central School District’s participation in the New York School Municipal Energy Consortium (NYSMEC) for the purchase of Natural Gas, as submitted.

  18. Resolution: Appropriating Tax Certiorari Reserve Funds for 24/25 Tax Settlement

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated June 30, 2025, to appropriate tax certiorari reserve funds, as submitted

  19. Resolution: Increase Debt Service Reserve Fund

    Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated June 16, 2025, regarding authorizing the decrease in undesignated fund balance (A909) $19,840.45 and increase the Debt Service Reserve Fund (A884) by $19,840.45 from the surplus sale, as submitted.

  20. Resolution: Decrease Employee Benefits Reserve Fund

    Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated June 16, 2025, regarding authorizing the decrease in Employee Benefit Reserve Fund by up to $43,000 and an increase in the general fund appropriation account A207015101 (Retiree Sick Pay) in the amount of $43,000 for payment of employee benefits, as submitted.

  21. Resolution: Appoint Interim Administrator for the District

    Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution to appoint Jill Bush, per diem Interim Administrator – Human Resources for the District, commencing July 1, 2025, in accordance with the agreement dated July 1, 2025, as submitted and authorize the President of the board to execute the same, as submitted.

  22. Resolution: Approve the Establishment and Donation of and for the Cameron Memorial Scholarship

    Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution dated June 20, 2025, regarding establishing The Cameron Memorial Scholarship, and accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donation from Christine Cameron and Carl George in the amount of $1,000.00, as submitted.

  23. Resolution: Approve the Name Change from Youth Leadership Club to Unified Club

    Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution dated June 30, 2025, regarding the name change from the Youth Leadership Club to Unified Club, as submitted.

  24. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation to be Applied to the SGCSD Technology Department

    Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated June 30, 2025, regarding accepting and appropriating a gift and donation of a Cam Master Panther CNC Router valued at $25,000 to the SGCSD Technology Department, as submitted.

  25. Resolution: Accept Gift and Donation to be Applied to the SGCSD Music Department

    Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated June 30, 2025, regarding accepting and appropriating a gift and donation of a full-size Palatino violin with case, 2 bows, rosin, extra strings and bridges valued at approximately $350.00 to the SGCSD Music Department, as submitted.

        1. FTE probationary appointment of Richard Duff as 5th Grade Teacher (Glen- Worden Elementary), effective September 1, 2025, through August 30, 2028, with the 2025-2026 salary to be at the rate of $63,889 (Step 12 +M).
      2. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the1.0 FTE probationary appointment of Megan Kirwan as 5th Grade Teacher (Glen- Worden Elementary), effective September 1, 2025, through August 30, 2029, with the 2025-2026 salary to be at the rate of $52,520 (Step 5 +M). Ms. Kirwin has Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 6) initial certification.
      3. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the1.0 FTE probationary appointment of Brooke Dempsey as 2nd Grade Teacher (Sacandaga Elementary), effective September 1, 2025, through August 30, 2029, with the 2025-2026 salary to be at the rate of $48,283 (Step 3). Ms. Dempsey is anticipating her Childhood Education certification this summer.
      4. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the1.0 FTE probationary appointment of Steffani Wolek as Speech Language Pathologist (Lincoln Elementary), effective September 1, 2025, through August 30, 2029, with the 2025-2026 salary to be at the rate of $55,963 (Step 6+M+C’s).
      5. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the1.0 FTE probationary appointment of Emily Benoit as 1st Grade Teacher (Sacandaga Elementary), effective September 1, 2025, through August 30, 2029, with the 2025-2026 salary to be at the rate of $50,920 (Step 5).
      6. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the1.0 FTE LOA position of Kayla Doody as 3rd Grade Teacher (Glen-Worden Elementary), effective September 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with the 2025-2026 salary to be at the rate of $50,743 (Step 4 +M).
      7. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the appointment of Benjamin Tunison as Teaching Assistant (Senior High School General Ed), probationary appointment, effective on or about September 1, 2025 salary to be at the rate of $19.70 /hour (Step 2).
      8. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Anissa Diacetis as Teaching Assistant (Special Education, Glen-Worden) probationary appointment, effective on or about September 1, 2025, salary to be at the rate of $19.27 /hour (Step 1).
      9. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve Rachel Ciotoli as 2025 Elementary Summer Program (Extended School Year and Learning Leaps) Principal, effective July 7, 2025, through August 15, 2025, with the salary rate to be $5,000.

      13. Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve Cathleen Smith as District Clerk with a stipend of $5,000 for the 2025-2026 school year, effective July 1, 2025.
      14. Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education appoint Cathleen Smith as Records Management Officer and Records Access Officer for purposes of the New York State Access to Records Law at no additional remuneration.
      15. Superintendent’s Recommendation: Modify the provisional appointment of Emily Wells as Executive Secretary I (Department of Physical Education/Athletics), in accordance with Civil Service Rules and Regulations, effective July 1, 2025, with the 2025-2026 salary to at the rate of $19/hour, 7.5 hours/day, 10 months, 20 days.
      16. Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the list of employees for summer curriculum work at the rate of $210.00/day for Teachers and $143.00/day for Teaching Assistants for each full day of service this summer, as submitted here and here.
      17. Superintendent’s  Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve Elizabeth Foley as a Summer Tutor at the rate of $32.00/hour for up to 20 hours.
