Young Tartan scientists excel at science fair

More than 75 elementary students showcased their STEM skills at the third annual science fair on March 5.

Projects ranged from invisible ink demonstrations and explorations of gravity to testing paper towel absorbency. The junior scientists did an excellent job explaining the scientific method to their teacher-volunteer judges.

Special thanks to Dr. Julie Friot and her student helpers for running fun and engaging biotech activities throughout the event.
