Free webinar tonight on effective strategies for raising children with ADHD

Raising a child with ADHD and/or oppositional behavior can be very challenging, often leaving parents and caregivers exhausted and at a loss for what to try next.

This evening, Jan. 27 at 6:30 p.m., Parent Empowerment Coach Jennifer Bashant will facilitate a webinar centered around a research-based approach created by a psychologist aimed at enhancing behavior and minimizing stress in the home. The Target audience is families with mid-elementary through middle school children. Here’s the link to register.

The session will cover topics such as:

  • How to issue commands effectively
  • Utilizing time-outs as a break from positive reinforcement
  • The proper use of praise and reprimands

Participants will also have the chance to ask questions, share resources, and offer support to fellow parents and caregivers who are present.

Live webinars are presented from 6:30-7:30 p.m. If you are not available to watch the webinar live, we encourage you to register because you will automatically receive the link to the recording after the live event. Access to the recordings will be available through the end of the school year.
