Free webinar Dec. 4: Supporting a child with autism spectrum disorder by leveraging strengths and fostering skills for success

The Scotia-Glenville Central School District is excited to present 11 complimentary webinars this school year for our staff, parents, caregivers, and students. This evening, Dec. 4, Educational Consultant Renee Beaulieu will share strategies for creating a positive home environment and developing essential social and emotional skills such as flexibility, emotion regulation, and communication. This session is designed for families with children of all ages. Click this link to register.

Renee is a seasoned special educator with extensive experience supporting students with Autism. She recognizes that many daily tasks and routines, which others may take for granted, can pose significant challenges for parents of children with ASD. Furthermore, many parents often feel isolated in their struggles, as finding someone who truly understands can be difficult.

Live webinars are presented from 6:30-7:30 p.m. If you are not available to watch the webinar live, we encourage you to register because you will automatically receive the link to the recording after the live event. Access to the recordings will be available through the end of the school year.
