Scotia-Glenville Central School District is happy to provide 11 complimentary webinars for our staff, parents, caregivers, and students. This evening, Parent Empowerment Coach Jennifer Bashant explains how to help their children develop and use executive function skills. The target audience is families with children of all ages. Executive function and self-regulation skills provide critical support for learning and development. These skills allow us to retain and work with information in our brains, focus our attention, filter distractions, and switch mental gears. For various reasons, some children and teens need explicit instruction and many opportunities to practice these skills.
Live webinars are presented from 6:30-7:30 p.m. If you are not available to watch the webinar live, we encourage you to register because you will automatically receive the link to the recording after the live event. Access to the recordings will be available through the end of the school year.
