Families encouraged to complete application for additional funding

Scotia-Glenville Central School District is continuing to provide free breakfast and lunch daily to all students for the 2025–26 academic year, thanks to our continued enrollment in the Community Eligibility Provision.

Although no application is required to receive these free meals, we strongly encourage all families to fill out this confidential 2025-26 household eligibility form. This information is vital for accurately reporting our community demographics, which directly affects the amount of state aid we receive each year. It also helps the district secure state and federal grants that are essential for supporting various student programs.

Additionally, this form helps assess additional benefits that families might qualify for, regardless of any perceived eligibility, including:

  • Free or discounted college courses during high school
  • Reduced fees for PSAT/SAT/AP exams
  • Waived college application fees

According to federal regulations, you must submit an application each year to retain access to these benefits. Only one application per family is necessary. Please return it to one of the schools your child(ren) attends.

Thank you for taking the time to complete the application. Your efforts will help ensure that our families are accurately represented.
