Congratulations to bowler Savannah Swiatocha and basketball player Fermin Fabian for being selected as the top performing Tartan athletes.
Female Athlete of the Month
Savannah Swiatocha
Savannah Swiatocha is a junior on the varsity bowling team.
She is the first female bowler in school history to bowl a perfect 300 game. Her 777 three game series is tops in the Foothills Council.
As impressive as her stats are, it is Savannah’s Tartan Teamwork mentality that particularly distinguishes her. This team captain is consistently attentive and supportive of her teammates whether they are struggling or striving.
Savannah takes her passion for life to the classroom where she carries an 88 average.
Male Athlete of the Month
Fermin Fabian
Fermin Fabian is a senior on the varsity boys basketball team.
This center led the team in scoring and rebounds on multiple occasions. Fermin has been a major contributor to the team’s success – and energized his teammates by executing three tremendous slam dunks.
Fermin was a First Team All-Star in their recent tournament. He is a true Tartan Teammate. His coach describes Fermin’s caring demeanor as impactful when he shows teammates techniques to improve.
Fermin has worked hard in the weight room, on the court, and in the classroom with an 89 average.
