Students of the Quarter

The SGHS Academic Student of the Quarter award is presented to a student based on multiple criteria. This award is not necessarily about good grades but about those students who demonstrate specific characteristics in their behavior and work.  As a school body, we are interested in acknowledging growth in our students as an achievement that they have worked hard to accomplish. 

• Students receiving an SGHS Academic Student of the Quarter award may demonstrate one, or more, of the following characteristics:
• Perseverance in their academic studies;
• Integrity in their behavior;
• Good character in making decisions;
• Civility in collaborating and working with others; or
• Leadership in taking on new challenges, to name just a few examples.
