SGMS hosts STEM event with RPI Ambassadors

Director of Mathematics and Science, Matt Hubbell, coordinated a STEM event that highlighted the RPI Engineering Ambassadors (EAs), a team of RPI engineering students dedicated to inspiring younger generations. “We had four presentations, making sure that each science class at the middle school could participate in one,” he said.

The ambassadors delivered captivating presentations covering a range of topics, such as:

  • Designing a safe rollercoaster
  • Forensics
  • Bioplastics in fashion
  • Thermoelectric devices

Each presentation provided essential foundational knowledge within its field. Moreover, students engaged in hands-on activities to reinforce their understanding of the concepts. Both students and ambassadors enjoyed a fantastic experience!
