Penguins giving hope, a dollar at a time

Helping local kids believe in better days

When the Lincoln Student Council worked toward the mission of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, they understood their meaningful actions would impact the lives of sick children. In return, with every dollar raised, the students felt incredibly impactful because they realized they were helping to offer life-changing situations.

The Penguins student council members raised $200 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation by selling stars for one dollar in the main lobby at school. The stars represent bringing children’s wishes to life. All money collected will be used to provide comfort and grant wishes for local children who are ill.
