Good Morning,

On Tuesday, September 24th we will have the pleasure of hosting Mr. Michael Arteberry the executive director of Youth Voices.  If that name sounds familiar to you it is because we had the pleasure of hearing Mr. Arteberry speak last year about students reaching their full potential by taking ownership and direction of their future.  As a refresher, please watch this short three minute clip of Mr. Arteberry’s work.  If you are interested and you are in 7th and 8th grade please see Mrs. Dixon or Mr. O’Connell to be a part of the one-day workshop on Tuesday, September 24th.  We are looking for approximately 10 students in grade 7 and 10 students in grade 8 to participate.  Mr. Arteberry will be with us one more time on October 22nd.  So if you are interested but don’t get selected for next Tuesday you will have an opportunity to work with Mr. Arteberry in October.Thank you

Good morning to all staff and students. Welcome to Motivational Monday.

The Eiffel Tower; The Great Pyramids of Egypt, The Niagara Falls; The Great Wall of China; and The Empire State Building. What makes these famous landmarks so popular and special? The answer lies in one little word called “The”. There is only one of them. The good news is it is the same with all of you. You are so amazing that there will never be another You. You are very unique and special.

Repeat after me, We are… Tartans!

CAMERA 1

ATTENTION STUDENTS!! The team problem sign ups and the informational night for Odyssey of the Mind will be held tomorrow between 6pm and 8pm in the Middle School cafeteria. Can a group of five to seven friends design, build and run a vehicle that will use mouse traps as their only source of energy? Can you create a performance that brings famous works of art to life? Can students design a folding structure using only balsa wood and glue that will bear weight? Oh YES you can! Odyssey of the Mind is a free program for all middle school students. Pull a team together and stop on by to learn more.
