Learning and community bonding make for a memorable week at G-W

A colorful week of spirit and unity

Glen-Worden was filled with excitement and togetherness as the student council kicked off last week by rallying the school to show their spirit by decorating hallways with rainbow colors representing each grade. On Friday, the students celebrated their unity by wearing their assigned colors and capturing the vibrant spirit of G-W during the Hive Time Assembly.

On St. Patrick’s Day, G-W had a special visit from School Resource Officer Kaiser and his comfort canine, Waylon. Lt. Kaiser and Waylon spent time with Mrs. Brockmann’s first-grade classroom, where students learned about the roles of therapy pets and service animals, discovering how working dogs like Waylon provide comfort, assist in emergencies, and support law enforcement every day.
