The energy was electric on the Lincoln Elementary field as the Lincoln Penguins welcomed a Glen-Worden tradition—the PTA Color Run! Dressed in crisp white t-shirts, students lined up at the starting line, ready to waddle, sprint, and transform into human canvases of vibrant color to raise funds for their school.

Penguins Running for a Cause

Organized by the Scotia-Glenville Lincoln Elementary PTA, the Color Run brought the entire penguin pride together. Over the past few weeks, students reached out to friends, family, and neighbors to secure pledges and donations. Every dollar raised directly supports upcoming school events, educational materials, and student activities throughout the school year.

Squirts, Sprays, and Smiles

As the whistle blew, the penguins sprinted, jogged, and danced their way around the Lincoln field track. Stationed all along the route were enthusiastic parents and teacher volunteers armed with squeeze bottles and buckets of brightly colored powder. With every lap, clouds of pink, blue, orange, and green filled the air, completely transforming the runners from head to toe.
