Congratulations to track & field runner Emily Heiner and lacrosse player Nick Lemp for being selected as the top performing Tartan athletes for the month of May.

Emily Heiner

Senior Emily Heiner had an outstanding track season, significantly contributing to her team’s achievements. At the Foothills Championships, she clinched victory in the 100m and anchored the 4×100 relay to a first-place finish, which helped secure the overall team title.

Her impressive performance continued at sectionals, where she also led the 4×100 team to a State Super Standard at the prestigious Eddy Meet, automatically qualifying the relay team for states.

As a standout athlete on the track and a high honor roll student, Emily exemplifies leadership, dedication, and excellence. Way to go, Emily!

Nick Lemp

Junior Nick Lemp concluded a groundbreaking lacrosse season, breaking the school’s single-season records by scoring an astounding 67 goals and 23 assists, accumulating 90 total points.

This phenomenal achievement in goals and points sets a new benchmark for future Tartan athletes!

Alongside his athletic prowess, Nick has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning honor roll recognition every quarter of this academic year. Great job, Nick!
