“I am so proud of what our team has accomplished this fall and we still have some tennis to play!” -Coach Geoffrey Olson.
This morning, the Lady Tartans received a spectacular community send-off, accompanied by S-G band members, local police, and firefighters as they headed to states in Binghamton. Scotia-Glenville is one of two teams in Section 2 still playing girls tennis, the other being Saratoga Springs that plays tomorrow, Nov. 4.
“Going to the State Regionals two years in a row is very special to these girls,” said Coach Olsen. “We played a very challenging non-league schedule to see some different teams and help prepare us for states. They have worked so hard to get here and we are excited for the opportunity to play Chenango Forks from Section IV today in Binghamton,” he said. Watch video of their send-off on our Instagram page.
