Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education accept the report of the Inspectors of the Election certifying the results of the budget vote held on May 20, 2025, as follows:

Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the resolution authorizing a budget re-vote and adopting the 2025-2026 budget and the related proposition for the Uniform Statewide Budget Re-Vote Day on June 17, 2025.

Property Tax Report Card for the 2025-2026 School Year
Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Property Tax Report Card for the 2025-2026 school year as updated for the Uniform Statewide Budget Re-Vote Day, as per attached and authorize the Property Tax Report Card to be submitted to the State Education Department.

Resolution: Accept and Appropriate Gift and Donation from Ronald McDonald House Charities
Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated May 27, 2025, regarding accepting and appropriating the Gift and donation from Ronald McDonald House Charities in the amount of $868.22, to Sacandaga School as part of their “Read for Ronald McDonald House Charity Program”, as submitted.

Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the Resolution, dated May 27, 2025, regarding accepting and appropriating the Gift and Donation from Sacandaga Elementary School PTA to be used for Arts in Education programs, increasing the BOCES Arts in Education Account (A211049401) in the amount of $3,550.16, as submitted.

a. Staffing
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Taylor Wood as Special Education Teacher (Glen-Worden Elementary), effective September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2029, with 2025-2026 salary to be at the rate of $63,889 (Step 12 +M).
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the probationary appointment of Nataliya Hayvanovych as Business Teacher (Senior High School), effective September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2029, with 2025-2026 salary to be at the rate of $69,311 (Step 14 +M +Phd).
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the appointment of Renee Evenden as a long-term Substitute Speech Therapist (Lincoln Elementary), effective June 1, 2025 through June 26, 2025, plus one shadow day prior to June 1, with the 2024-2025 salary to be at the rate of $82,866 (Step 20) prorated per day worked. Ms. Evenden holds permanent certification in Speech.
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the change in appointment of Heather Slover as Teaching Assistant (Glen- Worden Elementary) from part-time position to a full-time, probationary appointment, effective September 1, 2025 through August 31, 2029, with no change in hourly rate.
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the provisional appointment of Nikkie Morgenstern as Executive Secretary I (Middle School), in accordance with Civil Service Rules and Regulations, effective June 2, 2025 with the 2024-2025 salary to be at the rate of$18.25/hour, 8 hours/day, 10 months.
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the change in appointment for Lynn Casey (Executive Secretary I) from District Office, PPS Department to the Senior High School, effective June 2, 2025.
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education retroactively approve compensation for Michael Revette at his current hourly rate to assist with traffic control at the Senior High School Prom Walk-in on May 16, 2025.
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education retroactively approve Emily Wells as an additional Poll Clerk for the Annual District Election on May 20, 2025.
- Superintendent’s Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the attached list of additional substitutes for the 2024-2025 school year, as submitted.
