A buzzing hub of activity at Glen-Worden’s BeeBQ

The Hive celebrates final days at G-W with gratitude

It was an unforgettable day at the Glen-Worden Brood BeeBQ and Beach Goodbye! Students and staff shared laughter and fun memories after the Moving Up events this week.

Principal Andrea Polikoski shared a message that summed up the day. “A huge shoutout to Dana Brockmann and the student council team for making it happen!  Special thanks to Fireside Church for their support and our amazing former teacher volunteers, coordinated by Mrs. McDermott Dickson, including Mrs. Skibinski, Mrs. DeCarlo, DJ Dirk, and Hailey Francois — you’re all stars,” she said.

Teachers were praised for their hard work, like dealing with wet clothes and picking up lunch. A special mention went to Mike Riordan for setting up the dunk tank, which added some splashy to Mr. Campbell and Principal Polikoski’s day

Thanks were also given to the G-W logistics team: Brett Campbell, Heather Slover, Ellen Baxter, Jane Rockstroh, Megan Carroll, Missy Wietecha, Deb Passino, Kate Cartier, Nicole Lanni, Jackie Cubano, and Marina Castillo. Their dedication made the day possible.

Students made thank you cards for those who helped to make their last days at Glen-Worden special.
