We extend our congratulations to four talented Scotia-Glenville musicians who have been accepted into the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Area-All State Music Festival.
- Kaylee Gutmaker, grade 11 – oboe, English horn/orchestra
- Nolan Linck, grade 12 – percussion/band
- Wyatt Miller, grade 12 – bass/mixed chorus
- Logan Nilsen, grade 12 – tenor/mixed chorus
The Area All-State Concerts showcase exceptionally gifted music students from high schools across the Capital Region, performing in band, chorus, jazz band, or orchestra. Students are selected from nine counties based on their scores from NYSSMA auditions conducted last spring.
The Area All-State Concert will take place at Proctors Theater in Schenectady on November 22 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18.00.
