Congratulations to middle school lacrosse players Megan Darling and Declan Sweeney for being selected as the top performing SGMS Tartan athletes for the month of May. 

Megan Darling

Megan Darling is an eighth-grade key player on our modified girls lacrosse team. She is celebrated for her leadership on defense and her positive influence as a role model. Her eagerness to experiment with various field positions highlights her adaptability and openness to coaching, making her an essential asset to the team.

Additionally, Megan is a well-rounded student-athlete, consistently achieving high honors throughout the year while excelling in her sport.

Declan Sweeney

Declan Sweeney stands out as an exceptional lacrosse player, significantly influencing both offensive and defensive plays. This eighth-grader sets a positive example, energizes every practice, and serves as a supportive and motivating teammate both on and off the field.

Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Declan is also a high honors student, demonstrating excellence in academics alongside his athletic pursuits.
