Section 2 Class B Championships
As a team, Scotia/Galway placed 8th in the Burnt Hills tournament with a team total of 78 points. Individually, nine out of our 14 Varsity wrestlers found themselves placing in the top six in their respective weight classes. Five of those nine will be moving onto Sectionals this upcoming weekend at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
Sectionals qualifiers
- Wally Bourkia placed 4th at the 160 lb weight class
- Fisher Dennible placed 4th at the 285 lb weight class
- Nikolas Finn placed 5th at the 110 lb weight class
- Tanner Knaggs placed 5th at the 126 lb weight class
- Lyndon Barber placed 5th at the 152 lb weight class
Sixth place performances
- Kolt Wojtowecz at the 102 lb weight class
- Sam Watson at the 138 lb weight class
- Ethan Robar at the 189 lb weight class
- Kaleb Sweeney at the 285 lb weight class
