Sweet Starts & Big Smiles: Ice Cream Social Kicks Off the School Year! 
The first Sacandaga Elementary PTA event of the 2026–2027 school year went off without a hitch on Friday!
While the sweet treats were a hit, the evening was really about bringing our community together. Students, Families, Staff, Principal Federico, and our amazing PTA volunteers gathered to celebrate the fresh start of a brand-new school year.
As you can tell from all the bright smiles in the gallery below, Sacandaga isn't just a school—it’s a family.
