Updated Health Screener App Information

Due to the new Department of Health guidance, we are asking parents and guardians to make a small adjustment in the way the health screener is submitted each morning.

TO BEGIN THE SCREENER, PLEASE CONTINUE BY SELECTING THE NAME(S) OF THE CHILD(REN) TO SCREEN.

If you have multiple children in your household and would answer the screening questions differently for one child, please see Scenario 2 below. Otherwise, you may continue to screen for all children in your household at the same time using Scenario 1 below.

Scenario 1: Same Health Screener Responses for Children in My Household

I have two children in my household. Both children’s responses on the screener will be the same. I will submit the screener by checking the box next to each child’s name so they have the same results.

Scenario 2: Different Screener Responses for Children in My Household

I have two children in my household. Child 1 has a fever this morning and we are going for a doctor’s appointment today; Child 2 does not have a fever. To submit screener responses for one child at a time:

Uncheck Child 2 to submit your screener response for Child 1 (with fever). The school nurse will reach out to you regarding Child 1’s health and wellbeing.

Once you have submitted your screener responses for Child 1, open your original health screener link again (found in an email or text message) and submit screener responses for Child 2 only.
