There’s a lot of beauty back at the front of Glen-Worden, thanks to the grade 5 students in the building.
The students and staff weeded the garden and planted flowers, bushes and other upgrades to the front garden in front of the library window. Students walk by the garden every day when they arrive for school on the buses.
In addition to the teachers, grade 5 students in Holly Gatto’s two “pod” classes and Shayna Weiss-Perea’s one “pod” class did the work. They were assisted by teacher aide Gulia Perera and teaching assistant Jane Quick-Rockstro.
“They all did such an amazing job!,” said Gatto.
