“Tartan Plungers” raise nearly $9,000 for Special Olympics

More than 80 Scotia-Glenville High School GIVE students, staff and community members took part in the Special Olympics New York Polar Plunge at Shepard Park Beach in Lake George on November 9th.

The Tartan Plungers raised $8,928 through donations for Special Olympics in their fourth year of “Freezing For a Reason.” A total of $142,853 was raised at the Lake George plunge.
