Special instructions for parents registering their children for school

Dear Parent/Guardians:

Welcome to Scotia-Glenville Central Schools!  We know this year is especially trying for families who are moving or have students entering school for the first time and we hope to make this transition as smooth as possible!

As we continue our efforts to keep our families, students, and staff safe and healthy, we have set up a “drop off box for all registration records being dropped off to our District Office.  This box is directly outside our main doors at 900 Preddice Parkway.  We are also receiving documents via US Mail.

This temporary set up will help us to follow social guidelines and COVID protocols, and enable you to bring the necessary paperwork to our office without having to enter the building.    We will process the paperwork in accordance with the guidelines from the Center for Disease Control.

While we love to meet our new families, we feel these measures will help to ensure a safe environment for you and for our staff.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.  We look forward to serving you and moving forward together as the new school year begins!

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call our office at 518-347-3600 ext. 72101.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Susan M. Swartz, Superintendent of Schools
