School lunch prices to increase, other items dropping in price

School lunch prices for elementary and secondary students will increase to $3 per meal in September, an increase from the $2,75 (secondary) and $2.55 (elementary) in effect two years ago.

Breakfast prices will remain the same at $1.50. Prices on a la carte items, like water and juice, muffins and yogurt, have gone down. Here are those prices.

For the past two years, Scotia-Glenville students have not paid for breakfasts or lunches under a federal program during the pandemic. That program has now ended and students will need to pay for breakfast and lunch beginning this September.

The Board of Education approved the cafeteria prices last night.
