Glendaal Student Council is wrapping up a year of donations to the Animal Protective Foundation

The Glendaal Student Council is wrapping up a very productive year of donations for the APF (Animal Protective Foundation) of Scotia.

Students organized activities to raise money and awareness for the APF. Those activities included:

  •  $378 in a coin drive
  • $25 in bottle collection
  • $65 in staff donations in honor of our parent volunteers
  • Five big boxes of supplies for the animals at the APF.
  • the third grade Kindness Club worked after school to make over 50 fleece pet beds for the shelter.

Student council also tied in some other fun “animal related” things for our school to participate in-“Bring a Stuffed Animal To School” Day and opening and closing assemblies to tie in with our “Power of Yet” theme!

The faculty advisers for Student Council are Gina Brown and Leanna Leffler.
