Glen-Worden students put their hearts into their pumpkins

Glen-Worden students were able to create pumpkins based on their favorite book characters in the GW Library Pumpkin Contest. A total of 32 students submitted their pumpkins for the contest.

The winners were announced today:

  • Evan Martone, Lauren Centurioni’s grade 3 -1st place for The Mermaid who swallowed a Shark
  • Audra Zebrowski, Kate Maggs’s Virtual 2nd Grade, – 2nd place -The Bad Seed
  • Lola Danishevsky, Kimberly Voellm’s Virtual Kindergarten – 3rd place -The Pigeon by Mo Willems
