A team of Scotia-Glenville High School students participated in the regional competition for the 2021 National Science Bowl (NSB) this past weekend.

The event is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and, historically, the competition has always been held in person at the GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna, NY. This year, the regional competition was held via Zoom, It featured high school teams from across the Capital Region who competed in a fast-paced question-and-answer format where they solve technical problems and answer complex questions on a range of science disciplines including biology, chemistry, Earth and space science, physics and math.
