Computers for kids program collecting names of students who need computers

These days, students need more than pen, paper and pencil to succeed at school. They usually need access to a computer, especially at the middle and high schools.

The collaboration between Scotia-Glenville and the Scotia-Glenville Educational Foundation to make sure all students have computers has kicked off for the fall.

High school students refurbish computers that are then made available to SG students in need of a device for use at home.

In June, a local businessman, Tony Hynes, boost the program by making a donation from his business of 20 computers. Read more about that here – /computer-students-refurbish-donated-computers-tour-pva-in-cohoes/
