Case of COVID-19 confirmed at Lincoln Elementary

An adult who worked for an outside agency at Lincoln Elementary last week has tested positive for COVID-19.

Schenectady County Public Health Services (SCPHS) has recommended that as many as 21 students in different grades at Lincoln be kept home until further notice. SCPHS will conduct contact tracing and will notify anyone who was potentially exposed to the COVID-19 virus.

Everyone at the school is following health guidelines by wearing face masks and keeping socially distant, including the individual who tested positive. All staff members and students complete a series of health questions every morning from the Pinpoint Health Screening App before coming to school.
