Interested in running for the Board of Education?

Two seats on the Board of Education are up for election in the May 15 community vote. They are now held by Thomas Beauchamp and Gary Normington.

To run for office, download this form and collect signatures from 22 qualified voters in the Scotia-Glenville School District. The completed nominating petitions are due back to the Business Office, 900 Preddice Parkway, Scotia by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 16.

Board members serve three-year terms with no salary. They are responsible for overseeing the activities and policies of the school district. Meetings are typically held at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.
