5th annual Reading for the Mission brings 35 students to the Middle School

Posing after the Reading for the MissionThirty-five Middle School students and five faculty members brought their blankets and pillows to the Gathering Space as part of the 5th annual Reading for the Mission program last Friday night.

The event $80 and 4 copy paper boxes full of toiletries…soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

The students donated toiletry items and money which will go to the planned Middle School Giving Room as well as the City Mission.  Students read for 70 minutes and then enjoyed ice cream sundaes donated by Stewart’s.

The teachers present were, Sarah Hunt, Kim Morgan, Karen Levandowski, Carrie Wattie and Maureen Blazejeski.
