Board of Education has established a Task Force on K-8 Academic
Enrichment.
The Academic
Enrichment Task Force issued its final report to the Board
of Education on Monday, Feb. 13.

This Task
Force will meet on the following Wednesdays at
7 p.m. at the Sacandaga School library:

- December
14
- January

The committee issued an interim report to the Board
of Education on Nov. 28. It was presented by parent John Yagielski,
chair, as well as several committee members.

The committee
is scheduled to complete its work with a final report to the
Board of Education in February 2006.
The objective of the Task Force’s work will be to review
the present academic enrichment offerings of the district,
to review other district’s programs, and to make recommendations
for future programming.
The Task
Force will be composed of 12 parents, 2 students and 12 staff
members.
