S-G staff members invited to submit grant proposals
March 20, 2013
The Scotia-Glenville Education Foundation is offering SG staff an opportunity to apply for a Foundation grant for up to a maximum of $1,000 to fund creative and innovative classroom and lesson ideas. The S-G Education Foundation is a non-profit organization comprised of parents, community members, and educators.
Applications are reviewed by the Awards Committee which is made up of volunteer members from the community. The Awards Committee submits their recommendations to the Board of Directors which makes the final decision on who will receive the grants. All decisions made by the Board of Directors are final.
Grant recipients are required to submit a final report on their use of granted funds and the success of the initiative to the Board of Directors. The deadline for applications is April 13, 2013. The foundation is seeking grant ideas to fund this year and in the future.
